Design Approach
I've always been fascinated by why some homes feel instantly right and others never quite do. For me, the best interior design starts long before choosing furniture or finishes. It starts with understanding the person who is going to live there.
Even after more than a decade working on high-end residential projects across the UK and internationally, that's still the part of the process I find most interesting. Getting to know how someone lives, what they're drawn to and often picking up on things they haven't quite articulated themselves.
Over the years I've never truly developed a signature look because every home should be as individual as the person who lives there.
Part of my role is knowing what to filter out. There are endless beautiful things to choose from; the skill is knowing what's right for you and your home.
I listen carefully, refine where needed, and use my experience to recognise when an idea can be taken somewhere better.
The best interiors aren't designed to be admired from a distance. They're designed to be lived in.
I take on a select number of projects each year so I can stay personally involved from our first conversation through to final installation.

Interiors and materials have been part of my world for as long as I can remember.
My family have run a flooring business for over fifty years, three generations working across private homes and historic properties, including Buckingham Palace. Growing up around the business gave me an early appreciation for materials, textures and what it means to approach something with care and craftsmanship.
Going into residential interior design felt like a natural continuation of that. I’ve always been particularly drawn to the way materials sit together, how texture changes the feeling of a room and how the right choices can completely alter the experience of a space.
I went on to study Textile Design, deepening that interest in colour, pattern, fabric and materiality, all of which remain some of the parts of a project I find most absorbing today.
While every project is different, what remains consistent is my appreciation for natural, timeless materials, things that age well, feel good to live with and give a home longevity beyond trends.
